Cyanotype on canvas hammock

What impact are we leaving as we move through this world? Like the marks that lobster traps, buoys and collected pieces of line left on this print, daily we are making a mark on each other and the environments we exist in.

Natural and manmade objects were intertwined as a form of resistance; where they touched the hammock, the sun couldn't shine through, leaving white or light blue shadows as the sun exposed the light sensitive dye.

The hammock offers a chance to rest and simultaneously spark a conversation around human impact.
